THE PROPERTY

We are an exclusive mountain lodge, located in Potrerillos, Mendoza, Argentina, near the picturesque lake of Potrerillos, where abundant varieties of exotic flora and fauna abound, giving it a unique character. The region, Lujan de Cuyo, is known for having the best Malbecs from the world and other red varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo, Bonarda, and Pinot Noir.

Our mesmerizing property has two buildings. The first one is a Lodge that holds all the common areas for our guests to enjoy, such as a bar, restaurant, lounge, pool table, infinity swimming pool overlooking the Andes, and many areas where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity of the mountains.

The second one has four private and spacious suites with every amenity you could want, all surrounded by impressive mountain landscapes and an incredible view of the Cordon del Plata mountain range, located in the majestic Andes.

El Carmelo Mountain Lodge features an outdoor pool (best between October 15th - March 15th) and a bar/lounge on-site where guests can unwind with a drink. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning in the privacy of their suite. All suites and public areas are equipped with free wireless internet access, but the internet can be spotty due to our remote location.

Interested in activities while here? We can help organize tours to wineries, hiking, rappelling, horseback riding, and car tours throughout the area. Bicycles are available for rent at the lodge, and barbeque grills can be used at your convenience without any additional fees. We can arrange for a bilingual driver to pick you up at the airport and back the day you leave, for a small additional fee.

El Carmelo Mountain Lodge is a smoke-free property. No children are allowed on the property (14+ only). All cultures and genders are welcome.
